Este veh\u00edculo fue lanzado al mercado en marzo de 1968. Desde entonces, ha sido una referencia en el segmento pick-up, destacando por su calidad, durabilidad y confianza.<\/p>\n<p>El nombre \u00abHilux\u00bb es una combinaci\u00f3n de \u00abhigh\u00bb y \u00abluxury\u00bb en ingl\u00e9s, que en espa\u00f1ol significa \u00abalta gama\u00bb. El modelo se ha adaptado a las necesidades de cada \u00e9poca. Mejorando su motor y su capacidad de carga a trav\u00e9s de sus sucesivas generaciones. Pesaba 1.040 kg y su capacidad de carga era de una tonelada. En la actualidad, el modelo tiene un motor diesel de 2.8 litros, con una potencia de 204 caballos de fuerza, y una capacidad de carga de 1.190 kg.<\/p>\n<p>La marca se ha expandido globalmente a lo largo de los a\u00f1os. Con la capacidad de producci\u00f3n en terminales claves para su expansi\u00f3n en Asia, \u00c1frica y Europa.
